So here is my second table in less than a month. I built this table out of old barn wood that I found sitting outside the barn in the back yard. Michelle and I needed a table that we could comfortably work at besides sitting at the kitchen table or on the couch. The solution was to build a bar style table. The next step is to build the stool to sit on. The stool will be a combination of barn wood and natural wood. I'm trying to cross the two styles to match the other table I made. Along with the table, I made a small shelf that I mounted on the wall above the table. Having the table changed the look and feel of the room and it only took an afternoon to build.
